About the Organization
Immigrant Post Magazine is a monthly non-profit alternative news magazine covering Canadian Immigrant Issues.
The definitive theme of this magazine is to link diverse issues that broadly frame immigrant’s political, economic, cultural, and social conditions in Canada, while actively seeking public discourse on issues that may have implications on immigrant’s welfare, such as public policy, housing, education, employment, and culture/language.
The magazine offers an in depth analysis on the issues that impact on immigrants and intends to present a unique racialized community perspectives on their experiences and lifestyles. The purpose of this magazine is to contribute to the Canadian mosaic of multiculturalism within the context of promoting social justice.
With the idea of community needs and immigrant’s issues in particular, we actively disseminate information that connects the diverse struggles and successes of immigrant communities to the broader Canadian dialogue. This magazine is dedicated to inform Canadians and new immigrants about the challenges and opportunities that immigrants encounter on a daily basis.
Immigrant Post is devoted to advancing the literary arts in the digital age by supporting the local writers and to encourage literacy.
